What do they mean?
Sometimes, we can be the first to shout if something goes wrong with a favourite item of clothing after it has been washed. But how many of us read those washing instruction labels sewn into a garment for our help? or do we just take a chance on getting it right - do we even think about it?.
Well they are there for our help as they can indicate any special requirements needed for washing a particular item.
Different clothes are manufactured from different materials or percentage mixes of those materials. This change in composition change how they need to be washed or cleaned.
So you need to choose the most appropriate washing label instruction for your garment. Unfortunately and often, a garment will only show the symbol with no caption, so it is up to the user to interpret or find out what the symbol means (hence most of us not bothering).
